planmäßigkeit
Planmäßigkeit describes the property of being planful or systematically organized. In everyday use it denotes that processes unfold in a regular, predictable manner, as if arranged according to a plan. In German philosophy and theory of science, the term is used to characterize the intelligible order of phenomena that can be subsumed under laws, models, or rational schemes. It denotes a form of regularity that makes explanation and prediction possible, without committing one to the existence of a conscious planner. The related concept Zweckmäßigkeit (purposiveness) is sometimes discussed in parallel, especially in discussions of teleology in the natural sciences and in Kantian philosophy, where nature appears to exhibit planmäßiglichkeit that invites a teleological interpretation. In empirical science, planmäßigkeit refers to repeatable patterns and lawful relations—for example, the regular motion of planets, the predictable outcomes of experiments, or the statistical regularities used in modeling.
In planning and management contexts, planmäßigkeit designates actions and processes implemented according to a prearranged plan,
