Pedestalis is a genus of jellyfish in the family Pelagiidae. The species within this genus are characterized by their relatively large size and cylindrical or almost leg-like body shape, leading to the opinion that they are rare on coral reefs but common elsewhere.

The genus Pedestalis consists of several species, including Pedestalis danae, Pedestalis arctica, and Pedestalis tumulifera. These species are found worldwide, inhabiting tropical and temperate waters. They are, as mentioned, a part of the family Pelagiidae, a group of jellyfish commonly known as cathechellids.
