Parkimismajades are multi-level or underground facilities designed for the parking of motor vehicles. They are a common feature in urban areas, enabling sheltered parking, reducing street clutter, and facilitating efficient traffic circulation. The term parkimismajad (plural) is Estonian for parking houses, with parkimismajades referring to spaces within those structures.

Most parkimismajades comprise several levels connected by ramps. They include parking bays, driving aisles, stairs and usually elevators, and sometimes dedicated lanes for pedestrians. Modern garages balance capacity, safety, and accessibility, and are built from reinforced concrete or steel-framed elements. Ventilation, lighting, fire protection, and surveillance are standard components.

Access is typically controlled by ticket machines or automated payment systems; some facilities use license plate recognition and pre-booking. Accessibility features include reserved parking bays near elevators and accessible routes to entrances. Environmental considerations now play a larger role, with energy-efficient lighting, drainage systems, and, increasingly, electric vehicle charging points.

There are several types of parkimismajades: underground car parks, above-ground multi-storey garages, and parking decks attached to office or shopping complexes. Urban planning often require efficient layouts to minimize vehicle movements, support pedestrian safety, and integrate with public transport. In many cities, parkimismajades help manage peak parking demand and reduce on-street violations.
