Overenskomstmæssig is a Danish adjective that refers to something that is in accordance with an agreement, collective bargaining agreement or overenskomst. The word derives from overenskomst, which means a formal agreement or contract, often between employers and employees or trade unions, and suffixed with -mæssig, a common Danish ending meaning “pertaining to” or “in the fashion of.” Thus overenskomstmæssig literally means “pertaining to an agreement.”
