Otsustusõiguslikud, often translated as "decision-making authority" or "legal capacity to decide," refers to the legal standing of an individual or entity to make legally binding decisions. This concept is fundamental in many legal systems, particularly in areas concerning contracts, property, and personal affairs.

In Estonian law, the concept of otsustusõiguslikud is closely tied to the age of majority and mental capacity. Generally, individuals are presumed to be otsustusõiguslikud upon reaching the age of legal majority, typically 18 years. However, this presumption can be challenged if an individual is deemed to lack the mental capacity to understand the nature and consequences of their decisions due to factors such as mental illness, intellectual disability, or intoxication.

The absence of otsustusõiguslikud does not necessarily mean a complete inability to make any decisions. Conversely, individuals who are legally deemed otsustusõiguslikud have the full right to enter into contracts, manage their property, and make personal choices without external legal intervention.
