Osajännite refers to a component voltage within a series circuit. In a series circuit, electrical components are connected in a single path, meaning that the current flows through each component sequentially. When a voltage source is applied across such a circuit, the total voltage is divided among the components. This distribution of voltage is known as osajännite.

The magnitude of the osajännite across any given component is determined by its resistance relative to the total resistance of the circuit.
