Ordreflyter, also known as the Order of the Flying Dragon, is a prestigious military decoration of Norway. It was established on June 17, 1947, by King Haakon VII to honor Norwegian military personnel for exceptional bravery and service during World War II. The order is awarded to both Norwegian and foreign military personnel who have distinguished themselves in combat or through exceptional service.

The insignia of the Ordre de l'Aigle is a silver eagle with outstretched wings, holding a sword in its talons. The eagle is perched on a laurel wreath, with the Norwegian flag draped over it. The reverse side of the insignia features the Norwegian coat of arms.

The order is divided into three classes: Grand Cross, Commander, and Knight. Each class has its own insignia and ribbon. The Grand Cross is the highest rank and is awarded to the most distinguished recipients. The Commander rank is awarded to officers who have shown exceptional bravery and service. The Knight rank is awarded to enlisted personnel who have shown exceptional bravery and service.

The Ordre de l'Aigle is one of the highest military decorations in Norway and is awarded to a select few who have made significant contributions to the defense of Norway.
