ofruesve
Ofruesve is the name given to a language isolate spoken by the Ofruesv people, a small coastal community in the western Nyrian region. The term also designates the culture and its extensive oral literature. Largely confined to a handful of villages, Ofruesve has about 1,100 speakers as of 2020 and is labeled endangered by major language catalogs. Transmission remains strongest in the home and in community schools, though contact with neighboring languages has introduced lexical borrowing and some shift in usage to the majority language.
