odmienia

Odmienia is the present tense form of the Polish verb odmieniać, which means to decline or inflect. In grammar, the term odmiana refers to the set of word forms that a word can take to express grammatical categories such as case, number, gender, or person. The verb odmieniać denotes the process of inflection; odmienia (on/ona/ono) is the third-person singular present indicative: he/she/it inflects.

The concept of odmiana applies to nouns, pronouns, adjectives, numerals, and other parts of speech in Polish, as well as to some verb forms in compound tenses.
