Nyomófelületek, in English "printing surfaces" or "pressure surfaces," refers to the part of a printing press or a printing element that comes into direct contact with the substrate (like paper or fabric) to transfer ink or toner. This surface is crucial for the quality and definition of the printed image. Different printing techniques utilize distinct types of nyomófelületek, each with specific properties designed for optimal ink transfer and durability.

In relief printing, such as letterpress or flexography, the nyomófelület is raised and carries the ink. In intaglio printing, like gravure, the nyomófelület has recessed areas that hold the ink.
