nominálja

Nominálja is a Hungarian verb form that represents the third person singular present tense of the verb nominál, a loanword used in Hungarian to mean “to nominate.” As a present-tense form, nominálja corresponds to “he/she nominates.” The base stem nominál- is combined with the standard present-tense ending -ja for this person.

Conjugation and usage. In the present tense, full conjugation of nominál is nominálom, nominálod, nominálja, nomináljuk, nomináljátok, nominálják. The verb is used with a direct object in the accusative to indicate whom is being nominated, and with a destination or role indicated after a prepositional phrase (for example, nominálja őt az elnöki posztra, he nominates him for the presidency).
