Niveljalka is a portable leveling device used in carpentry and engineering to achieve precise vertical alignment on uneven surfaces. A typical niveljalka combines a compact foot-shaped base with a built-in spirit level and a vertical adjustment mechanism, usually a screw or micrometer.
