In-world origin and classification, Ngrohta refers to a proto-language spoken in a hypothetical Ngrohtan region. Descendant languages are typically grouped into three broad branches: Northern Ngrohta, Central Ngrohta, and Southern Ngrohta. This circuitry allows authors to model language contact, migration, and divergence without relying on real-world language families.
