Nabha is a city and municipal council in Patiala district, in the Indian state of Punjab. It serves as the administrative headquarters of the Nabha subdivision and is located in the Malwa region of southern Punjab. The town is connected by road to Patiala and other nearby urban centers and serves as a local hub for commerce and services.

Historically, Nabha was the capital of the princely state of Nabha, one of the Phulkian states that governed parts of the Punjab during the British Raj. The state existed from the 18th century until India's independence, when it acceded to the union and was merged into the Patiala and East Punjab States Union (PEPSU) before the present-day state reorganizations took effect. The area contains sites associated with its former ruling family and colonial-era administration.

Geography and climate in Nabha align with much of the Punjab heartland: a subtropical climate with hot summers and cool winters, and a monsoon season bringing most of the annual rainfall.
