Muzikë, often transliterated as muzike in ASCII contexts, is the Albanian word for music. It denotes the art and cultural practice of organized sound, including melody, harmony, rhythm, timbre, and form, as well as the activities of composing, performing, recording, and listening. The term has the same linguistic roots as music in many languages, tracing to Greek mousikē and Latin musica, reflecting a shared historical lineage.
