muusikasse

Muusikasse is the illative case form of the Estonian noun muusika, meaning “into music.” It is used to indicate movement toward music or entering the domain or activity of music, rather than a physical location. In Estonian grammar, illative forms express motion into something, and muusikasse fulfills this function when a verb of movement or engagement is used.

The form is created by adding the illative suffix -sse to the base muusika. As with other illative nouns, muusikasse commonly appears with verbs that describe going into or entering a field, such as minema or suunduma, to convey entering or engaging with music.
