Monopodlike is a term used to describe objects or organisms that exhibit characteristics resembling a monopod. A monopod, in its literal sense, refers to a single foot or leg. Therefore, something described as monopodlike typically has a single, prominent, and often elongated supporting structure. This structure can be for locomotion, support, or as a primary functional element.

In biology, monopodlike appendages are common. For instance, certain types of snails or slugs might be described as monopodlike due to their single muscular foot used for gliding.
