monoceros
Monoceros is a faint constellation in the celestial sphere, located along the celestial equator and named after the unicorn of myth. The name derives from the Greek monokeros, meaning one horn. It was introduced in the 17th century by the Dutch-Portuguese cartographer Petrus Plancius and is recognized by the International Astronomical Union.
