Monastyczna is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wąsosz, within Płock County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Wąsosz, 19 km (12 mi) north-west of Płock, and 101 km (63 mi) north-west of Warsaw.

The village has a population of 100. It is situated on the banks of the Wkra River, which is a tributary of the Vistula River. The area is known for its agricultural activities, with a significant portion of the land used for farming and livestock rearing.

Monastyczna is part of the historical region of Masovia. The village has a long history, with evidence of settlement dating back to the Middle Ages. It was part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth until the Partitions of Poland in the late 18th century. After the Napoleonic Wars, it became part of the Congress Poland within the Russian Empire.
