minämuoto
Minämuoto, literally the I-form, is a term used in Finnish linguistics and literary discussion to denote the first-person singular perspective in narration and writing. It refers to the use of the speaker as the subject of statements, typically marked by the pronoun minä (I) and corresponding verb forms, though Finnish verbs often convey person without the pronoun being spoken aloud.
In practice, minämuoto is most visible in autobiographical writing, memoirs, diaries, personal essays, and opinion pieces
Grammatically, Finnish finite verbs encode person and number, so the pronoun minä is not strictly required
