ministerkonferenser
Ministerkonferenser, in Swedish governance, are formal meetings in which ministers from different government portfolios discuss and coordinate policy on issues that cross departmental boundaries. They are a mechanism for inter-ministerial consultation and decision-making intended to harmonize government positions and accelerate policy implementation. The conferences are part of the Swedish administrative system managed by Regeringskansliet (the Government Offices).
Typically, participants include ministers with responsibility for the issue under discussion; senior officials or state secretaries
Outputs from ministerkonferenser can take the form of joint political statements, coordinated policy proposals, or directions
Ministerkonferenser differ from cabinet meetings and parliamentary committees in that they focus on coordination and policy
