mikrobølgemaskiner
Mikrobølgemaskiner, commonly known as microwave ovens, are kitchen appliances used for heating and cooking food using microwave radiation. They operate by generating electromagnetic waves within the microwave frequency range. These waves cause water molecules, fats, and sugars within the food to vibrate rapidly, producing heat and thus cooking the food. The interior of a microwave oven is typically a metal box designed to contain the microwaves, with a rotating turntable to ensure even cooking. A door with a metal mesh screen prevents microwaves from escaping.
The development of microwave ovens began in the mid-20th century, with their widespread adoption in homes occurring
