Mayoritarios is a Spanish term that functions as both an adjective and a noun in the plural form. It refers to people, groups, or positions that belong to or are characteristic of the majority. The word derives from mayor, meaning larger or greater, and is commonly used to describe that which has or represents more than half in a given decision-making context.

In political contexts, los mayoritarios often denotes the faction or party that controls a legislative body because it holds a majority of seats or votes. Majoritarian control can enable the formation of a government or the passage of laws, though many democracies protect the rights of minorities to ensure representation and limits to the tyranny of the majority.
