MaritimeLED refers to LED lighting technologies and products designed for use in maritime environments. These systems employ LEDs, drivers, and optics optimized for exposure to saltwater, humidity, vibration, and wide temperature ranges. MaritimeLED products typically use marine-grade enclosures, corrosion-resistant materials such as marine-grade stainless steel or powder-coated aluminum, and high IP-rated seals to prevent ingress of water and salt spray. They are designed to minimize maintenance while delivering reliable illumination over long lifespans.

Applications include navigation lights that meet maritime signaling standards, deck and task lighting for crew areas, engine room and accommodation lighting, as well as underwater or harbor-based illumination. LED navigation lights are colored and arranged to comply with international navigation rules, with red light on the port side, green on the starboard, and white for the stern, plus additional white all-round lights on specific vessels.

Standards and compliance: maritime lighting often conforms to COLREGs, SOLAS, and marine safety certifications. IP ratings such as IP67 or IP68 indicate water and submersion protection, while materials and components may be certified for salt spray and vibration.
