Some procurement and ERP ecosystems can exhibit manufacturer-centric governance, especially when access to data and configuration is restricted to manufacturer-defined roles.

Advantages include better alignment with production efficiency, reduced lead times through integrated planning, and consistent quality and compliance across products.
