Lääketutkimukset, known in English as medical research or clinical trials, are systematic investigations designed to evaluate medical interventions in humans. Phase IV trials, also known as post-marketing surveillance, occur after an intervention is approved and marketed, continuing to monitor safety and effectiveness in the general population.
