lämmönjohtavuudeltaan
lämmönjohtavuudeltaan refers to the thermal conductivity of a material in Finnish. Thermal conductivity is a fundamental property that quantifies how effectively a material can conduct heat. It is defined as the rate at which heat is transferred through a unit area of a material when there is a unit temperature gradient perpendicular to that area. Materials with high thermal conductivity, such as metals, are good heat conductors and can transfer heat quickly. Conversely, materials with low thermal conductivity, such as insulators like foam or wood, resist heat flow and are effective at keeping heat in or out.
The unit of thermal conductivity in the International System of Units (SI) is watts per meter-kelvin (W/(m·K)).
