Lytyje is a small village located in the Kėdainiai District Municipality of Kaunas County in central Lithuania. The settlement lies within the historic region of Aukštaitija, situated approximately 15 kilometres east of the town of Kėdainiai and 30 kilometres north of Kaunas. According to the 2011 national census, the population of Lytyje was 48 residents, a decline from earlier decades due to rural-urban migration.
