lysuttak
Lysuttak is a term used in Norwegian to describe the socket or outlet designed to connect electric lighting devices to a power supply. In practice it denotes the lampholder portion of a lighting fixture or a dedicated socket mounted in a building to accept a lamp. A lysuttak provides the conductive path between the live and neutral conductors and the lamp, and may include mechanical features to hold the lamp in place and, in some designs, an integrated switch or dimming control.
