In this context, it refers to a ritual or tradition where individuals, often women, are symbolically married to a tree. This ceremony is usually performed when a horoscope indicates potential marital difficulties for a woman, often due to specific planetary alignments. The belief is that by marrying a tree first, these negative influences are appeased, and her subsequent marriage to a human partner will be more harmonious and successful.
