Lentoyhtiö is the Finnish term for an airline. Lentoyhtiön is the genitive form meaning "the airline’s." The concept describes a company that provides air transport services for passengers and cargo using aircraft under a commercial license, operating either on a scheduled basis or as charter services.

Most lentoyhtiöt operate networks composed of routes between airports, leveraging hubs or point-to-point services. They maintain fleets sized to demand, employ pilots, cabin crew, and maintenance staff, and generate revenue from ticket sales, cargo, and ancillary services such as baggage fees and on-board sales.
