In geometry and education, lengdekonstruksjon refers to procedures that produce a desired length from a unit length or from other known lengths. Common tasks include copying a given length, constructing a length that is twice or the sum of two lengths, and creating specific lengths such as sqrt(2) through right triangles and circles. The concept emphasizes exactness and repeatability in shaping geometric figures.
