lefeküdni
Lefeküdni is a Hungarian verb meaning to lie down. It describes the action of moving from a standing or seated position to a horizontal posture, typically in order to sleep, rest, or relax. It is used in a literal sense, as in “Este lefekszem az ágyba” (I lie down in bed tonight) or “A beteg lefekszik a kanapéra” (The patient lies down on the couch). The expression can also appear in broader contexts referring to placing oneself in a recumbent position.
Etymology and usage note: the word is formed with the prefix le- attached to feküdni (to lie).
In addition to its physical sense, lefeküdni can have a sexual meaning in colloquial speech: lefeküdni valakivel
