Kõrgusandmete, often translated as elevation data or height data, refers to information that describes the vertical position of points on or above the Earth's surface. This data is crucial in various fields, including geography, surveying, engineering, and environmental science. It is typically represented in a digital format, allowing for analysis and visualization.

There are several ways to acquire kõrgusandmete. Traditional methods involve ground-based surveying using instruments like total stations and GPS receivers.
