Kódkoherencia is a Hungarian term that translates to "code coherence" or "code cohesion" in English. It refers to the degree to which the elements of a module or a class belong together. In software development, high code cohesion is generally considered a desirable attribute, as it leads to more understandable, maintainable, and reusable code.

A module or class with high cohesion focuses on a single, well-defined task or responsibility. Its components are tightly related and work together harmoniously to achieve that specific purpose. Conversely, low cohesion occurs when a module or class handles many unrelated tasks or contains elements that have little connection to each other. Such code can become difficult to understand, modify, and debug, as changes to one part might have unintended consequences in other, seemingly unrelated parts.

Achieving high code cohesion often involves applying principles like the Single Responsibility Principle (SRP), which suggests that a class or module should have only one reason to change. By breaking down complex systems into smaller, cohesive units, developers can create software that is more robust and easier to manage over its lifecycle.
