Käsipallimängude, a Lithuanian term, translates to "handball games" and refers to the sport of handball played in Lithuania. Handball is a team sport where two teams of seven players each pass a ball and try to score by throwing it into the opposing team's goal. The game is played on a court with a goal at each end. Players can only move the ball by passing or dribbling it. A player can hold the ball for a maximum of three seconds and take a maximum of three steps before passing or dribbling.
Lithuania has a long-standing tradition in handball. The sport is popular at both amateur and professional
