Kvantiseerimistase refers to a concept in quantum mechanics related to the discreteness of certain physical quantities. In the classical world, many properties like energy or position can change continuously. However, at the quantum level, these properties are often observed to exist only in specific, quantized amounts, meaning they can only take on certain discrete values. The "kvantiseerimistase" is the smallest such discrete unit or level.

Imagine a staircase versus a ramp. A ramp allows you to be at any height along its surface. A staircase, however, only allows you to stand on specific steps, each at a distinct, separate height. The kvantiseerimistase is analogous to the height difference between two consecutive steps on that staircase.

This quantization is a fundamental characteristic of quantum systems. For example, electrons in an atom can only occupy specific energy levels. They cannot exist at energies between these levels.
