Korraldam is a coastal city and the administrative capital of Veridia's Verdan Province. Located on the northern coast of the Verdan Archipelago, it sits at the mouth of the Rynn River and functions as a regional hub for commerce, governance, and transport. The city blends historic harbor districts with modern districts, and its skyline is defined by the Korraldam Dam and a busy port.

The area was settled in the early medieval period as a fishing village. The construction of the Korraldam Dam in the 18th century spurred urban growth by improving water management and enabling hydropower. The 19th and 20th centuries saw industrial expansion, followed by a shift toward services and logistics in the late 20th century.

Korraldam covers about 82 square kilometers and has a temperate maritime climate with mild winters and cool summers. Annual precipitation averages around 800–1000 mm, with frequent sea breezes from the gulf.

The economy centers on the port, logistics, and secondary manufacturing. The hydroelectric dam downstream provides power for industry; the city hosts warehouse complexes, a container terminal, rail and road connections to inland markets, and an international airport.

As of 2023, Korraldam has an estimated population of 185,000. The population is ethnically diverse, with Veridians forming the plurality alongside immigrant communities. Official language is Veridian; English is widely used in business and education. The city council governs local affairs, while it remains part of Veridia's national federation.

Landmarks include the Korraldam Dam, the Old Town historic quarter, the Riverfront Market, and the Veridia Maritime Museum. The city hosts annual festivals celebrating seafaring heritage and regional crafts. Korraldam hosts the Veridia National University campus and several technical institutes, contributing to a skilled labor force.
