Konossers are a fictional species that inhabit the planet Xylos in the Andromeda galaxy. They are characterized by their bioluminescent skin, which changes color based on their emotional state, and their six prehensile limbs, allowing them to navigate the dense, arboreal environment of their homeworld. Konossers communicate through a complex series of clicks, whistles, and subtle shifts in their bioluminescent patterns.

Socially, Konossers live in close-knit, communal groups called "lumina." These groups are matriarchal, with the eldest female leading the lumina and making important decisions. Their society is deeply intertwined with the flora of Xylos, particularly the giant "glow-trees" which provide both sustenance and shelter.
