Konduktiollesi is a Finnish term that translates to "conduction disease" or "conduction disorder." It refers to a condition affecting the electrical conduction system of the heart. This system is responsible for generating and transmitting electrical impulses that coordinate the heart's contractions, ensuring it beats in a regular rhythm. When there is a problem with conduction, these impulses can be slowed, blocked, or conducted erratically, leading to an abnormal heart rhythm known as an arrhythmia.
