Kinemaatiline is a term used in Finnish-language technical literature to describe anything related to kinematics, the branch of mechanics that studies the motion of objects without considering the causes of motion. In this usage, kinemaatiline characterizes models, analyses, and representations of positions, orientations, velocities, and accelerations of points, rigid bodies, and assemblies of bodies.

The concept is distinguished from dynamics, which concerns forces and torques that produce motion, and from statics, which deals with bodies at rest.
