kilokaloriein
Kilokaloriein is a term encountered in speculative science and some nutrition-related discussions to denote a unit of energy. It is not an officially recognized unit by the International System of Units or by standard nutrition authorities. In many of these contexts, kilokaloriein is defined as the amount of energy equal to one kilocalorie, equivalent to 4,184 joules, but presented with a distinct name to illustrate alternative unit systems or to support fictional world-building.
