Kerékösszetartás, commonly referred to as toe in Hungarian automotive terminology, describes the angle of the wheels relative to each other when viewed from above. It is a crucial element of a vehicle's suspension geometry and significantly impacts handling, tire wear, and stability.

There are two main types of kerékösszetartás: toe-in and toe-out. Toe-in occurs when the front edges of the wheels are closer together than the rear edges. This can improve straight-line stability but may lead to increased tire wear and slightly sluggish steering response. Conversely, toe-out happens when the front edges of the wheels are farther apart than the rear edges. This can make steering feel more responsive and reduce understeer in cornering, but it can also lead to reduced straight-line stability and accelerated tire wear.

The ideal kerékösszetartás setting is determined by the vehicle manufacturer and is a compromise between stability, maneuverability, and tire longevity.
