keisariin
Keisariin is the illatiivi (illative) singular form of the Finnish noun keisari, meaning emperor. In Finnish grammar, the illatiivi denotes movement into or toward something and is used with verbs of motion or in certain literary or ceremonial expressions. Therefore keisariin translates roughly as “to the emperor” or “into the emperor.” The form is created by adding the illatiivi suffix -in to the base keisari, yielding keisariin. The plural illatiivi form is keisareihin.
