kablolu

Kablolu is a Turkish adjective meaning wired or cabled. It is formed from the noun kablo (cable) plus the suffix -lu, meaning having or with. The term is used to describe devices, networks, or services that rely on physical cables rather than wireless transmission.

In technology and communications, kablolu contrasts with kablosuz (wireless). Common phrases include kablolu internet bağlantısı (wired Internet connection), kablolu ağ (wired network), and kablolu televizyon hizmeti (cable TV service). It can describe both consumer equipment (kablolu modem, kablolu yönlendirici) and infrastructure (kablolu altyapı).

In Turkey, wired networks remain important for fixed broadband access, with fiber and cable operators providing kablolu internet services. These networks offer lower latency and more consistent speeds than some wireless options, while kablosuz technologies continue to grow.
