Juuksesiirdamine is the Estonian term for hair transplantation. It is a surgical procedure used to address hair loss, particularly male-pattern baldness. The process involves harvesting hair follicles from a donor area, typically the back or sides of the head where hair is genetically resistant to thinning, and then implanting them into the balding or thinning areas of the scalp.
There are two primary techniques used in juuksesiirdamine: Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction
The transplanted hairs, if successful, will grow naturally and permanently. The procedure is typically performed under
