juottomenetelmän
Juottomenetelmän, commonly known as soldering, is a process used to join metals, typically through the use of a filler metal alloy called solder. This filler metal has a melting point lower than that of the base metals being joined. The process involves heating the base metals to a temperature sufficient to melt the solder, which then flows into the joint by capillary action and wets the surfaces of the base metals. Upon cooling, the solder solidifies, forming a strong electrical and mechanical bond.
The most common solder alloys are made from tin and lead, though lead-free alternatives are increasingly used
Soldering is widely used in electronics manufacturing to connect components to printed circuit boards, in plumbing
