A jambiya is a traditional dagger with a short, curved blade, typically double-edged, and a hilt made of horn, wood, or ivory. It is worn tucked into a belt or sash, usually across the abdomen, and is a prominent feature of men's attire in parts of the Arabian Peninsula, particularly Yemen, and also in some other regions of the Middle East and South Asia.
