Jafnhraða is an Icelandic term that translates to "constant velocity" or "uniform motion." It describes a state of motion where an object travels at a steady speed in a straight line. An object moving with jafnhraða has zero acceleration. This means that its velocity, which is a vector quantity encompassing both speed and direction, does not change.
