The operation of an ismaskiner typically involves a water supply that fills a reservoir. A compressor and refrigeration system then cools the water until it freezes onto an evaporator. Once a sufficient amount of ice is formed, a mechanism triggers to release the ice into a storage bin. The ice-making cycle then repeats. Maintenance, including regular cleaning and descaling, is crucial for ensuring the machine's efficiency and the hygiene of the ice produced.
